'2-in-1 hedge trimmer, offering all the advantages of a pole model and a handheld model, has 8.8 ft extension and 6 different adjustable cutting positions, as well as rotation of up to 80 degrees'. I also don't know why you think my comments of 1-2 skids or dozens of items is a discrepancy. Perhaps their lawnmower would be fine for my city sized lot, but I fail to believe when their rep said it was all people returning because they were trying to do too much that it was all people with acreage returning them. We all make purchase decisions based on things we observe first hand and that's all my comments are based on. Yes, my mind is made up, didn't know it was up for being changed by this discussion. Lol, sorry your feelings are hurt over my comments. I have been to the Ryobi returns centre a few times in 2022 as I still know folks who work for (and run) TTI Canada. Which now appears to be “dozens” not “1-2 skids per store” Your mind is made up over a few returns you saw. ![]() If they sold Festool and only sold 4 a week and 2 were returned, that’s better to you than the 1-2% of Ryobi returned. But as you said the percentages don’t matter to you. Likely as a percentage, all vendors have the same issue. A dozen returns over multiple 53 foot trailers of products a week is a rounding error. I’m confident you dont understand the sheer numbers of products here, but you do you. A few Hyundais catch fire and people brand the company as crap and I bet that is a much smaller percentage of unit sales than these Ryobi returns are. Dozens of items from a given store every couple weeks is enough to convince me to look at something else, I don't care how big a company they are or how small a percentage those returns represent. RIDGID introduces the R01401B 18V Brushless 22 in. When it is a regular occurrence at multiple stores, it's indicative of a quality problem, not just the odd person here and there thinking it would do more than actuality.
